What if I am diagnosed with OSA or CSA?

Sleep Apnea is the most common type of sleep disordered breathing, characterized by decreases or pauses in breathing during sleep. This disorder is a repetitive, cyclical pattern in which a person stops breathing for periods of longer than ten seconds due to an obstruction of the airway during sleep. These pauses, or apneas, can occur hundreds of time each night.  Each apnea event causes the brain to wake the body to resume breathing, leading to poor quality of sleep, irregular heart rate and increased blood pressure.  Sleep Apnea is an identifiable cause of hypertension and is also associated with type 2 diabetes, obesity, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, depression, and memory loss.

The great news is that OSA is a 100% treatable condition and there are many options available for treatment.  Your physician will help you determine the method of therapy that is best for you.

If your physician recommends CPAP or Bi-level therapy for you, we can help!  We can set you up with a PAP unit from one of the top manufactures in the industry.  Our units are modern, compact, quiet and designed for your lifestyle.  Our technicians will educate you on the use of your machine, provide technical support and provide you with continued service throughout the duration of your therapy.
